Jade, yes I had to mention it eventually.

Ok, ok, I was partly hoping not to jump on the bandwagon, partly because I don't think there's much room left on there, but damn, is this just plain nuts?

Firstly, I've done some reading up, and it appears that the most 'offensive' things said were said by Danielle, Jo, Jack, and not actually Jade, but Jade is the most famous one, so I think that's why she's getting more attention.

Now think back to when you were last really REALLY angry with someone, had just unbearable hatred for them, you probably either hit them, or found some really nasty thing to say that you knew would hurt them. I think the main thing here, is that Jade, not blessed with the vocabulary of Stephen Fry at the best of times, let the anger bypass the common sense part of her brain and just went for something hurtful.

To me tho, even if she'd actually said 'you fucking paki' on the live show, she's already lost her career pretty much, her perfume has been pulled from the shelves, and she's getting personally attacked from every angle, and she's been dropped by the anti bullying charity ( which makes perfect sense, I'm not disputing that). Is losing your career and your fame that you were somehow lucky enough to win despite having no talent not enough of a punishment for a stupid flippant remark that she, I believe genuinely regrets? She has also already donated all her money for her appearance and any and all interviews to charities.

Take a look at the papers, pretty much demanding her head on a spike, for being a 'bully'? Isn't that like Rik Waller telling her she has a fat arse?

I really don't like Jade, I never have, not from the first moment she appeared on screen, but there is no way she deserves to have her home attacked, and have an actual campaign of hate directed at her by the Sun and the like. Again, also, it's not just her, her family, friends, kids, etc are all affected by this, and let's remember, there's murders, rapes, paedophiles every day, one person saying 'poppadom' in the wrong context... doesn't make her public enemy number 1 in my book.

Channel 4, tho, for start, they just shouldn't have shown it, and they can fuck a big barrel of off, if they're gonna roll out the 'we're just documenting what happens' bullshit, because they script everything, they depict good guys and bad guys, and stuff is edited out, and even on the 24 webcasts, you're not able to see every angle of every camera, and there can be 'technical errors' at any time necessary.

Also at blame are anyone jumping on it trying to make themselves look good at Jade's expense, and yes, I mean the politicians, the papers, the TV shows, etc. for a start, making yourself look good next to Jade is like an alcoholic feeling smug at a crack addicts convention. Secondly, you're all just make things worse , and blowing it all out of proportion, and you all know it!

I can't see Jade doing a 'Kate Moss' and getting her career back despite fucking up in a huge way, (and what's with that too, "kate, you've been very bad, cocaine really isn't good for you, and kids look up to you, here's 8 new million dollar contracts, now don't go taking the diet dust again, oh and make sure you don't weigh more than your own skeleton would if it was a bit dusty, or you're fired!")

In my mind, Jade has been racist, but in a stupid chavvy way, like back when I was growing up and I'd hear people going 'oi paki' and laughing and running off to the corner shop owner. They don't actually hate the target, they just don't have the bloody sense to treat others in a respectful way if they get any kind of small reason not to. As for Jack, if what I heard is true, that his defence was 'I didnt call her a paki, I called her a c***' well, saying you used about the most offensive term you CAN use to a woman, probably not the best defence. As for when he was getting something explained to him, about why men have nipples, and he obviously heard the word 'embryo' for the first time, the pure entertainment watching his bemused face, he looked like a monkey being taught string theory.

Please though, think this thru, who's a more dangerous racist, Jade Goody, who pretty much accidentally said 'poppadom' or some BNP supporting fanatic or extreme muslim fanatic who want the other side either out of the country or preferably dead?

Summing up, my opinion, Jade...Bully, yes, Fuckwit, definately, Chav, completely, but racist? only in the low grade, too stupid to know better category. I don't like Jade and never have, but its because she's made a career out of being borderline braindead, not because she let slip a bad word. She's obviously not a pleasant person to get on the wrong side of, and can get quite nasty, but damn, there's worse people on the planet.

As many have said, she was mainly just threatened by someone of a higher class, more intelligent, better looking, and more successful than her, and the only way she knows how to deal with it is to try to destroy them. Which is why its usually smart kids that get bullied at school, because the neanderthals don't know how to deal with it.

Come on guys, there's levels of killing, accidental death, manslaughter, unlawful killing, murder... surely there can be a difference between a badly chosen word and actually burning down orpanages full of foreign people?

PS: The reactions shown in India, huge protests and burning effigies and full on hatred, nice way to show you're above all this guys, and that you're all advanced, level headed, intelligent people. Of course, you have to take into account that this is how its being presented by the UK media too, so it might have happened once in one place, and that's enough to present it as fact all over.

As for Gordon Brown visiting India to apologise, I hope all he said was 'I'm sorry, we've got a few fuckwits that don't know when to shut their big fat gobs, I hope you realise most of us are nothing like that'. Because we don't need to apologise on behalf of the British people, when its one idiot making a couple of comments on a damn crappy TV show.
